LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Travel will be restricted to one lane in each direction in places as workers reconfigure the construction zone at the Interstate 430-Interstate 630 interchange in Little Rock.

The disruption is to begin at 6 a.m. Sunday and continue through the day.

Highway officials say the movement of traffic lanes is to enable new stages of construction to begin, including building an overpass over Shackleford Road that connects I-630 and Financial Centre Parkway as well as construction of flyover ramps from I-430 to I-630.

Once the Sunday work is complete, only two lanes will continue west on I-630 between the I-430 North ramp and Shackleford Road. No left turn onto Shackleford will be allowed.

The intersection is the state's busiest. Work will continue on the $124 million project through 2014.
